Obituary
Poplar - Warren Mitchell, 21, died Tuesday in a highway accident east of Wolf Point which is under investigation. He was born Aug. 29, 1950, in Poplar, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Theodore R. Mitchell Sr. He was a disabled veteran of the Vietnam war. He married Helen E. Persons Sept 28 1971, in Poplar. Survivors include the widow; the parents, Poplar; four brothers, Col. Ted R. Mitchell Jr., Anniston, Ala, Sgt William R. Mitchell, Tacoma, Wash, Robert, Poplar, and Henry, Puyallup, WA; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Alice Martin, Tyler Texas, Mrs. James Buckley and Mrs. Merle Smith, both of Poplar. Funeral services will be `10 am Friday from Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Poplar, with the Rev. Peter Cuthneck officiating. The Rosary will be recited 7:30pm Thursday in the Tribal building and a wake will follow. Burial with military graveside rites accorded by the Poplar American Legion will be Poplar City Cemetery. Clayton Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
