Obituary - Imelda Hawley St. Ignatius - Imelda M. Hawley, 86, died Sunday evening in a Ronan nursing home after a short illness. She was born in the Mission Valley on May 21, 1883, one of the 21 children of Antoine Morigeau and Mary Louis Clairmont Morigeau. She attended the Providence Sisters Academy at St. Ignatius. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Hawley. The Hawleys had spent many years of the married life in Dixon, Spokane, and Tacoma, Washington. Mrs. Hawley had spent her last years in St. Ignatius. Survivors include three sons, Charles Francis, Vancouver, WA; William A., Kelso, WA; and Kenneth R., Yakima, WA; two daughters, Gertrude L. Hamilton and JoAnn Hawley, both of Spokane; two brothers, Bill Morigeau, Ronan; and Forrest Morigeau, Hot Springs; three sisters, Pearl Howlett, Dorothy Brown and Rose Beauvais, all of Ronan; 19 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
