LINDELL GORDON MEMORIAL GARDEN jr.
Lindell Gordon was a St. Louis businessman and a trust officer for
The Mississippi Valley Trust Company. When the weekend retreat of
telephone executive Eugene D. Nims went on the market, Gordon, along
with the help of Walston Chubb, raised $197,000 through the Open Space
Foundation in order to purchase the land.
Lindell married Maud Miller Streett Gordon, daughter of James Clark Streett and Maud Wells Streett, on 22 Apr 1927. (Maud Miller Streett Gordon was born on 22 Aug 1905 and died in May 1985.)
