Marie Mitchell Adam
- Born: 1841 summer, along the Missouri River
- Marriage (1): Jean Baptiste Adam Jr on 29 Jan 1872 in Canada
- Marriage (2): Maxime Dauphinais
General Notes:
I found the original affidavit - she is stating that she was born along the Missouri in the summer of 1841 to Mitchell an American, and Josephte Deschamps, half breed - the following is the link

She was living in the Selkirk county of Manitoba, she was already a widow of Maximus Dauphines? spelling? Based on this document, I am certain she is the daughter of DD Mitchell. However, this conflicts with the fact that I believe Josephte died of small pox in 1837, unless she never did die in the smallpox epidemic, which is also a possibility.
Found the name Preachard on a document - I'm not sure where they come from, her father in law mentioned it, not unless she was married before. Says she is on the prairie.
also, she was born same year as her half brother, David Joseph. Both sisters pregnant at the same time??
Marie married Jean Baptiste Adam Jr, son of Living and Living, on 29 Jan 1872 in Canada. (Jean Baptiste Adam Jr was born on 4 Dec 1847.)
Marie next married Maxime Dauphinais, son of Living and Living. (Maxime Dauphinais died on 25 Jun 1871 in St. Francois Xavier, Manitoba.)
