A graveside service will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 15, 2003, in Burns Cemetery in
Burns for Lyleen Rose Mellish, who died Nov. 8 at age 76. Lyleen Brophy was born
March 9, 1927, in La Grande. A homemaker, she lived in Seattle and Milton-Freewater
before moving in 1955 to West Linn. In 1948, she married Murry "Ray"; he died in
1995.
Survivors include her sisters, Theresa Howes, Paula McCallum and Ursula Brantley;
and brother, James "Bud" Brophy.
