According to 1888 census, James Garfield is married to Red Cloud - I believe her to be his first wife. I am not sure what happened to her, but he remarries in 1895 to Mrs. Gray-hair

Red married James Garfield #1 Sr, son of Garfield and Eagle Wamndi. (James Garfield #1 Sr was born Jul 1864 or 1868 and died in 1950.)
