Mary Knorr WOLF POINT Making star quilts was a favorite hobby of Mary Knorr, member of a Wolf Point area pioneering family, Mrs. Knorr, 86, died Sunday, Nov. 16, in Trinity Hospital. Born in Wolf Point, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Garfield Sr., she was a dormitory student at the Presbyterian Mission King School in Old Town. She married Clifford Reddog, who died in 1941. In 1943 she married William Knorr Sr. He died in 1968. Survivors include two sons, Laurence Reddog of Poplar and Erwin Reddog of Wolf Point; a daughter, Mrs. Lyle Simonson of Billings; 29 grandchildren; and 60 great-grandchildren. Rosary was said at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 18, in Clayton Memorial Chapel. Mass was celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 19, in Immaculate Conception Church with burial in King Cemetery.
