Funeral services will be held at 1p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 29 at the Brune & Buck Mortuary Chapel in Bishop for 40-year Bishop resident Justine “Pid” Harrington. Gretchen Hess of the House of Mercy Pentecostal Church will officiate. Interment will be at the East Line Street Cemetery.
Born on Feb. 11, 1930 in Round Valley, Pid died Dec. 24, 2005 at Northern Inyo Hospital. She was 75.
Pid is survived by her daughter, Glenda Harrington Momberg of Badger Creek, Mont.; brother, Buddy Summers of Bishop; sister Virginia Morales of Susanville; grandchildren, Spencer Momberg of Badger Creek, Sookaaki Momberg of Bishop, Marjorie Momberg of Polsen, Mont., Shaw Momberg of Cut Blank, Mont., Sierra Momberg of Polsen and Sage Momberg of Badger Creek; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
