taken from Family search.org & 1900 indian census record. Him and Josephine had five children, 3 living. His father is from Pennsylvania and is a white man according to census document.

He outlives three wives!

A little bizarre, not sure if accurate, but appears he was married to Good Chief Josephine Woman, and after she passed in 1902, he married her daughter Lulu!!- not sure about this.

From marriage cert to Buckles, he is born 1873

Charles married Lulu Alice Bruguier Knorr, daughter of John "Johnny" Thomas Bruguier and Good Chief Josephine Woman, on 7 Nov 1902 in Culberton, Valley Co Mt. (Lulu Alice Bruguier Knorr was born on 27 Feb 1882 in Glendive, MT and died on 11 Jun 1912.)

Charles next married Josephine in 1896.

Charles next married Fannie Buckles, daughter of Living and Living, on 11 Jan 1913 in Culberton, Valley Co Mt. (Fannie Buckles was born in 1874 and died on 23 Oct 1913.)
